Welcome to the Backtracks blog
Welcome to the Backtracks project blog. The Backtracks project consists of up to fifteen interviews and book chapters. The aim of the Backtracks project is to capture an important part of Australian oral history before it’s lost with the passing of those who hold it in their hearts and their memories. It is a collection of engaging stories told by those who have witnessed the best, and the worst, of Australia. With up to fifteen individual chapters and associated interviews, Backtracks isn’t simply a collection of Australiana. Backtracks captures the history behind some of Australia’s most iconic places and interesting people. Each personal account brings to life the challenges and the reality of life in Australia and celebrates the real Australia for what, and who, it is.
